IT Services for Children’s Hospice

Core is always mindful of the need to keep the charity’s overheads to a minimum, so that as much money as possible can go directly to frontline services.

They have really taken time to get to know how we operate and find solutions to make our computer systems remain up-to-date, secure and deliver for us.

Background

As Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice celebrates its 10th anniversary, Core is proud to have supported the charity from the start, both as a corporate fundraising partner and as manager of its energy, waste and IT.

As Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice has grown, we have kept an eye on their needs to make sure they are always getting the best value for money.

We are delighted to have been able to minimise the amount of their budget that is spent on energy, waste and IT services and to work with them to develop strategies to manage these overheads.

How we help

Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice has grown into 120-strong organisation with an increasing dependence on reliable IT systems and data storage.

Over the past ten years, Core have supported IT Technical Support and management of the hospice’s IT network services – ensuring that the equipment and infrastructure is in place and kept secure.

This includes routine security updates and patches, alongside cabling and ongoing computer repairs.

Working closely with the IT manager, Core maintain a positive working relationship and act as the hospice’s virtual IT support desk 24 hours a day.

What the customer says

We have a very open and honest working relationship with Core and the service they provide is excellent.

“They understand the cost pressures we are under and always go that extra mile for us.

“Our ongoing growth means we constantly need small jobs doing, including setting up new email addresses for staff, and they are always quick to respond to call outs – even if it’s for something simple.

“They have really taken time to get to know how we operate and find solutions to make our computer systems remain up-to-date, secure and deliver for us.”
