Town Signs Core as Principal Sponsor for Another Year
Calderdale’s Core Facility Services will be the name on every Shayman’s home shirt for another year.
The local firm shook hands on the deal as it confirmed plans to expand into new offices in Elland and create new jobs in the autumn.
Core chairman Gareth Henderson said: “Everyone at Core got behind FCHT last season and we enjoyed being part of the football community at the Shay, so we’re all really excited at the prospect of another year as principal sponsor.
“We’re pleased to be able to stick by the club during what is a very challenging time for grassroots football and where loyalty and community are more important than ever.”
Core Facility Services helps local businesses spend less on energy and waste by helping them source the best suppliers and contracts for their needs. The firm also operates cleaning solutions and fully managed IT services, taking care of everyday costs and efficiency right across an organisation.
David Bosomworth of FC Halifax Town welcomed Core’s decision to be the club’s principal sponsor for another year.
He said: “Core was a fantastic sponsor last year and an enthusiastic supporter of the club, cheering us on week in, week out.
“We’re thrilled that they are back this season and that they have pledged vital financial support as we recover from the impact of lockdown and coronavirus.
“We look forward to seeing our team and fans wearing their new look FCHT Core home shirts with pride at the Shay as the season gets underway.”
